Your Rights

Most disabled students who share their negative experiences at university have no idea that what has happened to them could be classed as discrimination. The Disabled Students’ Network at UCL recently created an information campaign about disabled peoples’ #RightToEducation to inform disabled students (and the university) of our rights. The graphics are intended to be generalisable to other universities, so feel free to share them within your own community.

Equality Act 2010

The key document for understanding disabled students’ rights in higher education is the Technical guidance created by the Equality and Human Rights Commission

As the document is more than 200 pages long the disabled student’s network at UCL created two summaries.

A long one (15 pages) and a short one (4 pages)
